I have over 12 years’ experience with Warwick Estates, including more than 10 years specialising in health, fire, and building safety within the residential property sector.
I hold a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Salford (1996) and began my career in estate agency before moving into housing management under a government contract, where I gained my first formal experience of fire and health & safety compliance. This role involved ensuring HMOs met statutory standards and working closely with local authority Environmental Health and Fire and Rescue Services.
In 2014, following a period as a Property Manager at Warwick Estates, I transitioned into a dedicated health, fire, and building safety role, progressing from Risk Assessor to Head of Risk Management within 18 months. I have since been responsible for developing and maintaining the organisation’s in-house risk assessment frameworks, governance processes, and assurance systems.
