A Fire Risk Assessor operating to this level should be able to conduct a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment of the general fire precautions in buildings that are perceived to have:
a) low fire risk, and may be;
b) used for domestic residencies for a family or persons of a familiar occupancy of less than 15; or
c) have retail or commercial occupancies with less than 15 staff and the public; and
d) are less than 3 stories in height above ground floor level;
e) have internal travel distances of less than 30 metres;
f) contain no abnormal hazards or substantial quantities of controlled product, and
g) generally have a floor area of less than 300 square metres.
