I have an engineering background having served 15 years in the Royal Navy and then 19 years with the Fire Service predominantly focusing on fire safety, risk assessments and enforcement as a senior fire safety regulator.

After leaving the service I set up my own fire safety consultancy business and have carried out fire risk assessments in a variety of premises, having experience in a wide range of areas of the fire industry such as the MoD, National Government Agencies, Storage Facilities, Offices, Schools, Medical facilities and Residential type premises concentrating mainly on:

• Fire risk assessments

• Peer Reviews

• Fire Safety Audits

• Consultation and liaison with Fire Authorities

• Fire Strategy & Design

I work mainly in the South of England but can work anywhere in the UK/ Ireland or Internationally where I provided services to clients in Kenya and the Falkland Islands.
