City Resilience – Fire Prevention – the Future

Alastair was Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Glasgow and has worked closely with cities across the world in developing thinking around resilience and helping businesses, communities and cities understand what benefits can be gained from working on clear resilience planning. He has most recently been working with European partners on developing resilience tools.

In this afternoon event, he will explore what is meant by resilience, give examples and share thinking on what we can all do to improve resilience in our jobs and in our communities.
