Professional Background & Experience
Gordon has been involved in the fire industry for over thirty eight years and served for thirty years as an operational firefighter and fire safety enforcement officer with a large Scottish local authority fire and rescue service.
Since retiring from the fire service, Gordon has operated his own fire safety consultancy and has delivered fire risk assessment and fire safety training services throughout Scotland to a wide and varied client base.
In recognition of his fire safety experience, qualifications and contribution to the fire sector, Gordon was elevated to a Fellow of the Institute of Fire Prevention Officers (FIFPO) and is an accredited Tier 2 intermediate fire risk assessor with the Institute.
